Inns at Altamont
Guilderland
Description
A proposal to convert a vacant, decaying abandoned building just outside the Village of Altamont into a 60-room full-service hotel with a wedding venue, restaurant and spa. The IDA voted to schedule a public hearing — no incentives approved yet.
Impact summary
Could bring 90 jobs averaging $60,000 a year and put a long-empty building back to use — but details on incentives and infrastructure (water, fire suppression) are still open questions.
